JUB Holland, court supplier of the highest quality flower bulbs, is honoured to make a special contribution to a royal project in Madrid together with our partner Mapi Floricultura.

In gratitude for her warm hospitality in Spain, Princess Amalia donated a colourful tulip garden to the city of Madrid. Mapi Floricultura delivered JUB Holland tulip bulbs to Madrid, which were planted last Monday by Dutch ambassador Roel Nieuwenkamp and Madrid mayor José Luis Martínez-Almeida. Next spring, a beautiful tulip garden will bloom in the city. This wonderful gift symbolises the appreciation of Spanish hospitality, and we are delighted that our tulip bulbs are part of this royal gesture.

‘Due to special circumstances, I was able to live in your beautiful Madrid for a year,’ the Princess of Orange wrote in a post on Instagram. ‘The warmth with which I have been received has allowed it to also, for a while, become my home. For that, I want to thank Madrid, its people, and everyone who made it possible enormously.’
‘As a token, I bring a piece of the Dutch flower display to your city in the beautiful Plaza de Oriente. Hoping that, especially in spring, it will give some extra colour to life in Madrid, as the city has given me.’

We feel honoured to contribute to this unique planting with our quality bulbs.
