Matching flower bulbs

Many perennial borders are almost colourless in early spring when no bulbs are planted. To enjoy these borders for an extra long time, plant bulbs that flower in March, April and May. In doing so, it is important to take into account what will already be on display at that time in terms of any early-flowering or early-leafing perennials. There are also many spring annuals that can be used. Or go for summer bloomers to enjoy flowers until autumn.
