The Vibrant Verge

Biodiversity in urban areas is becoming increasingly important, with growing attention to ecological management and the development of herb-rich vegetation. To promote biodiversity and ensure a long seasonal bloom, we have developed the 'The Vibrant Verge'-concept in collaboration with various partners.

This concept combines annual, biennial, and perennial native seed mixtures with a custom-designed flower bulb mixture. As a result, an ecologically responsible vegetation is created that contributes to biodiversity and provides sustainable planting with a long flowering period.

By combining herbs and flower bulbs, blooming can occur for up to 8 months, from early spring to the beginning of autumn. This leads to less maintenance, as the verges only need to be mowed once a year. This is both cost-effective and beneficial for biodiversity, providing food and shelter for butterflies, bees, and other insects nearly year-round.

In the first 3 to 5 years, we take care of all maintenance and monitor the project three times a year. Through our expertise, we ensure that mowing is done at the right time and with the appropriate techniques, contributing to a low-maintenance and ecologically healthy environment.
