These mixed double large-flowered begonias can be admired for months and are among the real summer and autumn bloomers. Begonias are easy to maintain and require little care. Large-flowered, double flowers look beautiful in planters on the balcony or terrace, but also in the garden between the lower annuals.The best planting period for begonias is spring after the risk of frost has passed. Plant the tubers with their hollow side facing upwards, about 20 cm apart and cover them with a thin layer of soil.Begonias can easily overwinter if you take the necessary actions. We advise you to remove the tubers from the ground when the first night frost is predicted. Store them in a dry place during the winter. In the spring, when there is no longer any risk of night frost, you can plant the begonias in the garden again.Begonias prefer to be in partial shade. However, if the begonias are in full sun, make sure you water them generously (about 2-3 times a week). Water the plants in the afternoon when the bright sun has disappeared.
