The Curcuma longa (yellow root) is best planted in a warm, sheltered spot in the garden or in your greenhouse. Keep the soil moist, but beware: he does not like wet feet and can rot quite quickly. When the leaves have died it is time to harvest and let the rhizomes dry. The curcuma plant should not be pruned. It is enough to remove the dried leaves from time to time.
