Ball dahlia Jowey Linda has beautiful round flowers and is a grateful summer bloomer that will give you months of joy. Dahlia Jowey Linda blooms all summer from July until the first night frost. Dahlia Jowey Linda grows to approximately 130-140 cm high. Sometimes it is necessary to support the flower stems.You can plant dahlia tubers in the spring. Dahlias are sensitive to frost, so be careful with late (night) frost. Dig a large planting hole, loosen the soil and fill the planting hole with high quality potting soil. Carefully place the tubers in the planting hole and cover with 3-5 cm. of soil. The planting distance of the tubers is 30-60 cm. Give the tubers some water immediately after planting. Dahlias bloom most abundantly in full sun. Store the tubers in a frost-free place after flowering and you will enjoy them for years.Dahlias can be combined well with perennials and other dahlia species. The flowers with their spherical shape are real eye-catchers in the border. Dahlias are also excellent cut flowers and have a long vase life. The best time to cut dahlias is early in the day. Place the stems directly in lukewarm water with cut flower food.
