Hosta (heart lily) T-Rex is a popular plant. This is mainly due to the decorative leaves. This plant is very suitable for planting in a large flowerpot. The well-formed, oval to heart-shaped leaves are strikingly green in colour. In the summer, light violet flowers appear along the flower stems. The flowers are above the leaves and give the plant extra ornamental value in the summer. Hosta T-Rex is a beautiful foliage plant that looks great in a flowerpot or simply in the open ground. This Hosta likes a location with half shade to shade. Water your Hosta T-Rex regularly, the root ball should not dry out. Dry soil is not tolerated well by the heart lily. Cut away the faded flower stems at the end of the flowering period. The heart lily is very winter hardy. Remove the dead leaves in the spring, you will soon see the noses of the new shoots above the ground again. Hostas are also very beautiful in the border between flowering perennials, such as Hemerocallis and Astilbes.
