Product omschrijving
Phlox paniculata Red Riding Hood is a beautiful selection for the garden with green-white flowers. The flowers are twisted in the bud, divided into five petals and a hole in the middle. The flowers spread a refined scent and are attractive to butterflies. Height 70-80 cm.Phlox paniculata Red Riding Hood is a perennial that grows best in the open ground. Dig a large planting hole and loosen the soil well. Improve poor garden soil by mixing in compost and cow manure pellets. Place the root ball of Phlox at the right height in the planting hole. The top of the root ball should be just below ground level. Fill the planting hole with soil and press firmly. Water immediately after planting. Phlox Red Riding Hood grows and blooms well in a spot in full sun or partial shade and is also a beautiful cut flower. The stems above ground finish before winter. Cover the plants in winter with a layer of fallen leaves. Give garden fertiliser in early spring. Cut all the leaves in spring. Soon new shoots will appear above the ground.-
