The flowers give off a delicate scent and are attractive to butterflies Phlox also has the Dutch name flame flower Height 50-60 cm.Phlox paniculata Swizzle Blue is a perennial that grows best in the garden. Dig a spacious planting hole and loosen the soil well. Improve poor garden soil by mixing in compost and cow manure pellets. Place the root ball of Phlox at the correct height in the planting hole. The top of the root ball should be just below soil level. Fill the planting hole with soil and press firmly. Water immediately after planting. Phlox grows and blooms well in full sun or partial shade and is also a beautiful cut flower.Before winter, the stems above ground die off. Cover the plants in winter with a layer of fallen leaves. Apply garden fertilizer in early spring. Cut all the leaves in the spring. Soon new shoots will appear above the ground.-
