Zantedeschia Callafornia Red with its red colour can be planted both indoors and outdoors.Plant the tuber in a pot with high quality soil. Then place Zantedeschia directly in full light and water it regularly. The leaves of Zantedeschia develop first and then the striking flowers.After the risk of night frost has passed, Zantedeschia can also be planted outdoors. Plant them 10 cm deep in humus-rich, well-drained soil in a spot in full sun. Zantedeschia likes to grow in fairly moist soil. Always use new potting soil when planting in flowerpots and planters. In a garden with fairly moist soil, Zantedeschia can be beautifully combined with hostas, among other things. Give Zantedeschia plenty of water in the summer, the soil may be constantly slightly moist. For plants in pots, place a saucer under the pot and always leave a layer of water in it during dry periods.Zantedeschia is not frost-resistant. It is therefore advisable to grow plants in a pot and to overwinter them frost-free. Keep the potting soil on the dry side in the winter. Give more water in early spring and put Zantedeschia outside again in the spring (after the last night frost).
